It is getting loads of news coverage, entertainment shows talk about Twitter, even the President uses Twitter. With millions of people using Twitter, it's hard to know how to find other users with similar interests. It can be hard to survive information overload! There are a plethora of Twitter apps that can help you be efficient on Twitter. For example, some allow you to arrange your incoming and outgoing tweets and communication so you can see all your messages on the same page in different columns. Some applications are easy to use with a good. Others leave a lot to be desired. The good news is most are free. The main advantage of Twitter over other online forums is the amazing freshness of the messages on the service. Since Twitter can be easily updated from cell phones, and has a very simple interface, the information is always current. What is starting to become available is the capability to see interest sets of people on Twitter. This is a promising way to find like minded individuals.It is fascinating to see live communities form due to the real-time communication enabled by communication sites like Twitter. For the first time it is possible to go into a world-wide pervasive "chat-room". Imagine being able to chat with people in your own city, or dog fans from around the planet on Twitter in near real-time. To be certain, there are new Twitter interfaces popping up all the time. If you care to, you can try them all (most cost nothing) and figure out which one suits you!
